Areas of Interest

Through my work in museums such as the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History, National Portrait Gallery, and Seattle's Museum of History and Industry, I have gained broad experiences in a variety of museum disciplines - from public programming to collections management. My interest in gaining a breadth of experience has transferred to my work at ILI. I have had the opportunity to participate in research and evaluation projects with science centers, natural history museums, art museums, living history sites, historic sites, as well as the media and community programs. Each project has enhanced my understanding and appreciation for informal education and I look forward to continuing this pursuit.
