Areas of Interest

Understanding how people connect with museums, what they take away from the experience, and how that experience affects them over time are of great interest to me. A generalist, I am drawn to a range of areas for evaluation and research - from particular audiences (teens, young children), programs (out-of-school-time, community clubs, family events), and the methodologies best suited for use with those audiences and programs to building community partnerships. Perhaps my deepest interest is promoting evaluation as a useful exercise for planning and acting.
