Areas of Interest

My research and evaluation interests center on the personal and social benefits of engaging in lifelong, free-choice learning and the ways adults, children, and schools supplement formal education with informal learning activities. I strive to improve the means by which informal education venues are used to educate audiences, especially with regard to human and environmental health. I enjoy working with program teams to create useful and practical evaluation processes and products
