ILI OFFERS A SHORT-TERM, IMMERSIVE OPPORTUNITY for graduate students and museum professionals interested in pursuing deeper knowledge and hands-on experience in audience evaluation theories and practices. The internship is in memory of Deborah A. Carey, founding Board member of Science Learning Inc., the organization that became ILI. This opportunity is based in our offices near Annapolis, MD, and includes a stipend of $1,600 per month. Applications are accepted year round.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE must learn quickly and be able to work on multiple tasks at once. The candidate should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent written and oral communication, as well as sound interpersonal skills. Opportunities within this program can include: coordinating aspects of evaluation planning and design; collecting data in the field; and writing technical reports that interpret and summarize data.
